Hi all...

I have a Lite-On 48125W 48x12x48x CD-RW drive and I was wondering if it is at all possible to flash it to a 52246s 52x24x52x drive. If not, can I go any higher than I already am? [?]

Is not possible, but take a look for more information:

In fact I have 48/24/48 and now it works like 52/24/52.
However is very good to know that you can save to bin file your current firmware with mtkflash, under DOS, so you can safeliy do a future experiments with your LiteOn drive :-)))
Actually mtkflash is your the only one chance to back your 'dead' drive after unsuccessful flashing :-)))
