Hello,
I have a Teac DV-W516GA with original firmware 4Bs2. I make the upgrade at 4Bs6 and as result the unit doesnt recognizes any media, and the led light blink all the time. The update was succesfull done. The nero info tool sees the change of firmware.

What is your advice ?

Well, things aren't as they seem to be in this case. i think..
Try flashing ur drive back to the previous version the 4Bs2 firmware. this should fix ur problem..

also try flashing it with the "Liteon Unscrambled" which u can find at codeguys. it's common and this should do the trick. and don't worrie, about the Liteon thingi, Teac and Liteon share the same build. to the nat that is :)

I haven't found any firmware for the DV-W516GA

I know it is a rebaged LiteOn....

it's a rebadged 1653S

you can use MTKflash and the .bin file of the 1653 firmware you want in order to update your drive.
