Nu Tech DDW-082 fw B377

This is a windows loader and seems to have bug with Xp Sp2 I have found no way to load it I have tried it with drive in my USB/FIREWIRE encloser, the drive on motherboard ata/100 ide, and on my promise card the system sees the drive fine in all cases but the Nu tech loader does not. I have a working aspi layer and even the nu tech bitsetting app sees the drive. I also tried older B375 fw loader that I used last summer to load last fw and it to wont see the drive . So if you have XP sp2, and you cant flash, and you find a way to get it to work I would love to know. I have emailed Nu tech but so far no reply.

Looks like its not just my problem , two friends who also own DDW-082 cant get it to work one has encloser 1394 the other has it on his intel motherboard ide as sec mas. they get the same error I do, and they both actually rolled back to xp sp1 to get it to work, I find this to be way to much work, and will have to find pc not updated and plug my drive into it, so i can flash. I have posted on another forum that has nu tech worker that post there I hope he has an idea of whats going on, as i think they will get lot of feedback over this.

Seem its not just on sp2 , I have since tried on my friends pc he has sp1 and it would not update on this either. His nu tech updated fine so there is something else happening, its very odd as B375 loaded back in May fine and also it has run fine on pc burned media and all, but now it seems no nu flasher will load onto it not even the B370 the original fw it came with. I guess im stuck with it at B375 unless nu tech can have an idea.

Although It does not explain what happened with the flasher and my drive I had a friend hack flasher to disable drive check and it flashed fine. I have done some tests and seems to burn + and -R fine. not a clue why the official flasher could not find my drive.
