Hey anyone knows if there is a way to overclock the LG 8120 CDRW drive?? I read that this drive has the same OTI controller than the Yamaha 16X burner..
Here is my experience with this drive:
When I bought it, I was using an old version of Nero (5.4) that recognized the drive but didnt recognize all the features, IE: the space in Buffer Underrun Protection was in Blank. I didn't pay attention to that until I had a buffer underrun while i was burning a data CD. Then what happened i still cannot explain it: the CD stopped burning, waited until the buffer had enough data and CONTINUED BURNING!!!!. The I tested the CD and it was OK. I do not know but this drive supposedly does not have buffer underrun protection..
