1) When i have a blank DVD media inserted to a supported drive for PI/PO scan, the software should prompt when i press start "this function only works with burned media" or something

2) I am using a BenQ drive, it gives me speed options, 4X/6X/8X/12X but after starting the scan, box should be gray out, despite the fact that speeds are not anyway working

3) Maybe also PIF should be gray out when benQ drives are being used, since BenQ doesn't support PIF, i know it a flast line (0), but a warning for amateur user (why this damned line won't rise up?)

yup, its slow alright, some go faster, mine sits at 1x, another sits at 0.6x. Benq emailed me yesterday and said they are looking at speeding it up as per my request.

Benq pif does actually work if the errors are large enough. A scan showing this is below

5) I noticed that if you turn off either PI/Speed and try later to re-enable it, you need to double click it to show, doesn't appear with the first click

Here is a nice scan...Don't you agree?

benq halted at a point, at 9% and didn't proceed, so maybe if drive doesn't repspond or no error reported after sometime, lets say 2-3mins, dvdinfopro auto stop

Well, I found a little bug on both versions 2.6 and 3.07.

DVR-A07/107 does support DVD+R DL read feature, but on both versions it report as unable to read, please, check it out.

Thanks, as its not reported by the drive that way I will override it and show it capable of reading them. I will add this to my todo list.
