I've downloaded the newest 5.5.9.0 version of nero. I have also upgraded to the sony crx185e1/a1 (40x,32x,10x). My issue is that when i burn data file seesions in nero the burn occurs as normal. except i cannot access the cd that it has been written too. when i try to access the cd it appears as if it blank. when there is something burnt on it. Nero works fine for audio cd's they work perfectly, and my burner does data fine as clone cd works and the files can be access on a cloned cd. I just want too know if anyone else has had a similar problem, where the data gets burnt to the cd only they cannot seem to access it, as the cd appears in explorer to have nothing on it. any ideas?

cheers.

No i have no packet writing software installed that i know of. It is just really strange that the burn supposedly completes ok but then when the cd is put into any system it appears as though the cd is blank.

yes i have. That was the first thing i tried. It comes up that the disc might be corrupted or written using a format not supported by windows. my settings are

ISO level 1
format: Mode 1
character set: iso 9660
with joliet selected.
and no relaxing of ISO restrictions.

Yep i have tried different media. I'm just unsure of what it could be since the drive works fine with clonecd and all the discs can ber read properly, it's just the writing of data sessions in nero that seem to have a problem of the disc appearing blank.
