I used to have that trouble with my old drive. The original copy of the VCD (Which I made in the first place) would work in the DVD player, but when I copied it, I could not play the copy in the DVD player, but it would play on the computer. So I knew the copy was good, but there was something about it that would not let it play on the DVD player. The only way I was able to copy a VCD was to put the VCD in the drive and find the .dat file on it, this will be the biggest file on the disc. Then copy that to my hard drive, then open NERO and create a new VCD using that .dat file. You dont have to rename it or anything, just point to it like it was your mpg file for an original VCD and Nero will treat it like an mpg file and make a VCD out of it. Try it, it works.... Round about way of doing it, but it does work.
