Is there a way to copy a region 1 DVD where it may be viewed on a european region player?

Virtually every program used to backup a DVD movie will remove the region protection by default, or at the least will give you the option of changing the region to whatever you want. DVD Decryptor and DVD Shrink are just two such programs.

BTW, this is posted in the wrong forum. You should have posted it in the CD/DVD Copy section.
