first i am alreal newbie to computers

i have installed nero 5.5 and have no sucess burnoing anything even from cd rhom
it starts reads -
analysing cd
cd copyrighted
caching cd files started
caching cd files completed
burnprocess started at 32 x(48000kb/s)
writing to disc
used read buffer
0%
1 audio0%
writing at 32 (4800kb/s)
generic crd -bp 1600- lead in
recorder buffer level 9green


then nothing happens
please can some one help i have emmailed nero tech support but thye have not replied
