PIE/PIF still does not work on my Benq DW830.
And when selecting speed it jumps back to 12x CAV.

Will you look into this?

The PI/PO scan with DVDinfoPro using my LiteOn 165-dvdrom gives much better results then using KProbe with same drive and same disc.

@Emperor

Same drive, same disc, same readspeed and a huge difference in errorcount.
Is this hardware or software related?

Could be both, i suggest the following test:

Scan the same disc with same speed with same software, lets say, 3 times, make an average...

Now do the same with the other software and compare their average values...

That would be interesting so see.

PS. I am 100% sure that there will be % differences between the scans of the same LiteON drive, the question here is how big. That's why i have asked Nicw to add option to be able to scan disc X times and present an average graph of the X scans...

That would surely be a good idea/option. Let's wait if he's willing to do this.

Yup I can do this. Sadly it wont make it for V3.00 as I just cannot keep holding on to it and adding in new stuff. After this weekend when V3.00 is out, the flood gates for ideas and new features will be open ;)
