Just a noob question really. I have always stuck with good quality media and then I learnt how lots of the other brands are seconds and that can be false economy, sicne they are rejects with high failure rates. I have always used dvd-r Verbatim before, is there any reason to use the dvd+r type? I know this was a later burning type. Is it down to individual burners liking particular types more? I am after the most compatible type with standalone dvd players . I cnat be bothered to switch from Verbatim as the time or effort wasted in having a coaster isnt worth it.
