indeed you can't know, because it becomes all about quality. a media can be unreadable after a while or scratches, and some dvd readers can have problems.
Blindwrite extracts the cd or dvd with the deepest hardware information and burn as much information possible, to do the closest copy possible.
To verify the quality of the burnt media, you can use VSO Inspecter (freeware downloadable at
www.vso-software.fr) to check the burnt either sector by sector or file by file.
