I just brought my cd-rw drive today and I have installed it in my computer. I'm running Win XP Pro on a Dell L series computer. When I turned back on the computer after installing the cd-rw drive windows recognized that new hardware had been installed.But I can't use it because I get the following device status:

Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

I have tried unistalling and reinstalling the device in windows, but nothing works. I also went to the lg website and downloaded the driver. Once I install the driver, I have to reboot, when I try to reboot it hangs. Can someone help me with this problem?
