CyberLink announced today support for the Universal Disc Format 2.5 and 2.6 (UDF), the burning standard Blu-ray Disc and HD-DVD respectively.
The Blu-ray Disc format has selected UDF 2.5 as the primary file system
standard for burning data or videos onto discs, while the HD-DVD format has
chosen the comparable UDF 2.6 format. CyberLink's burning applications -
Power2Go and InstantBurn - support discs using the aforementioned UDF formats,
ensuring disc writing and playback compatibility between PCs and CE devices.
