LG Display is constructing the world's biggest production lines for 10th generation OLEDs in Paju, a city in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea.

It is heard that the company is working with South Korean equipment manufacturer YAS in developing the deposition equipment for 10th generation OLEDs. LG Display also worked with YAS in the past for the mass-production equipment of 8th generation OLEDs.

The new P10 lines are expected to by ready in the second quarter of next year. The new lines are expected to mass-produce large OLEDs along with small and mid-sized flexible OLEDs.

LG Display managed to achieve the so-called "golden yields" from its 55-inch full HD panels and UHD panels during the fourth quarter of 2016. A "Golden yield" indicates a yield that excedds 80%.
