 HTC Reveals Entry-level Desire 510 Powered By a 64-bit Processor

Message Text: HTC has launched the entry-level Desire 510 smartphone, whih comes with a 4.7-inch screen and is capable of 64-bit processing.

The Desire 510 uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 410, a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, and though it will initially run as a 32-bit processor initially, HTC may enable its 64-bit processing once Android L starts to roll out to consumer devices in the future.

The smartphone has a 4.7-inch 854x480 display, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage with microSD expansion by up to 128GB. Cameras include a 5-megapixel on the back of the Android 4.4 device, along with a VGA-resolution front version. Connectivity is extending to Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, DLNA support, and LTE.

HTC will be shipping the Desire 510 in Europe, Asia and the United States.
