Message Text: Opera Mini 8 is out now, with a restyled look and features, acustom made for the Java platform on basic phones.

The new look includes an improved Speed Dial start page with redesigned tiles. Speed Dial provides quick navigation to sites from hybrid mobile phones. The new browser has also a A flat, minimalistic design.

Users of Opera Mini also get features otherwise seen in much more expensive phones - for free:

- Night mode: Opera Mini 8 includes a night mode that dims the effects of an ouch-that's-bright screen, using darker colors that are easy on your eyes.

- Improved savings reports: A new data-savings page lets users monitor and adjust how they save data, such as setting the quality of images, all in the same place. All users' surfing is squeezed down to as little as 10% of its original size.

- Private mode: Opera Mini 8 now supports private tabs that don't save information once the open tab is closed.

Opera Mini 8 works on all modern basic phone models capable of running Java programs. It can be downloaded from ava-based basic phones or BlackBerry OS now, by visiting m.opera.com.
