Apacer launches its latest portable SSD AS710, which comes with SATA III and USB 3.0 dual interfaces.
The compact 128 GB SSD drive (0.7 cm thick, 75g) supports Windows-To-Go function, anti-collision and anti-shock protection (3000G). Microsoft Windows-To-Go allows one to store the start-up system from his/her Windows 8 Enterprise in AS710. When connecting it to other computers, one can enjoy fast start-up and run one's own Windows 8 desktop.
According to Apacer's own tests, data access through SATA III interface enables the read speed up to 550 MB/s,and the sequential write speed reaches up to 530 MB/s. The drive also demonstrates read/write speed up to 380/420 MB/s when connected to USB 3.0 interface for file transmission.
Besides, AS710 boasts built-in wear leveling and Error Correction Code (ECC) functions and supports Win7 Trim command.
