Message Text: 'Normandy' is rumored to be Nokia's first Android phone reported targeted at consumers in emerging markets.

Nokia's ex-employees claim that the Finish company had tested Google's open source operating system on its hardware. Despite the fact that Nokia develops Windows Phonesas part of Microsoft, according to The Verge, the Finnish company intends to continue flirting with Android.

Unless Microsoft scraps the company's plans, Nokia is aiming to launch the handset in 2014.
