Message Text: LG will reportedly use its own quad-core and octa-core mobile chipsets for its future smartphones and tabkets.

LG has already licensed ARM's big.LITTLE technology and the new chips are expected to feature feature Cortex-A15 cores clocked at 2.2 GHz, and a big.LITTLE configuration with four Cortex-A15s, and four Cortex-A7s, clocked at 1.7 GHz, according to a report from Korea.

Mali-T604/T624 and T720/T760 are cited as GPU candidates for the Odin series, said to be clocked at 600 MHz.

The quad-core Odin is rumored to power LG Smart TVs, while the big.LITTLE octa-core chipset is said to make its way in LG's upcoming smartphones and tablets.
