Message Text: Last month Intel was said to be in talks with Verizon to sell off its stalled web TV effort. Now a new report claims that Intel is again in talks with telecom titan Liberty Global, which purchased Virgin Media last spring.

Liberty Global Plc is interested in acquiring Intel's online pay-TV service under development, Bloomberg reported today citing three people with knowledge of the situation.

The European cable company would use Intel's system outside the U.S., acording to the report.

Intel promised to offer a TV service this year. The product, called OnCue, is designed to give consumers access to content across TV sets, smartphones and mobile devices.

Intel had began seeking partners with a base of Internet subscribers or rights to films and television shows, a according to a September report.
