Message Text: The U.S. International Trade Commission will investigate HTC for patent infringement based on a complaint Nokia filed in May that targets several phones including the HTC One.

The investigation is based on a complaint filed by Nokia on May 23, 2013. The complaint alleges that HTC infringed six of the Nokia's patents. Handsets named in the complaint include HTC's Droid DNA, the HTC Evo 4G LTE, and last year's generation of HTC One phones.

The patents are related to video processing, internal smartphone design and radio transceiver technology.

Last month, Nokia filed another lawsuit against HTC with a U.S. federal district court that also claimed several HTC phones, infringed on three of the company's patents.

Nokia requests that the USITC issue a limited exclusion order and cease and desist orders.

Within 45 days after institution of the investigation, the USITC will set a target date for completing the investigation.
