Message Text: Nokia is said to strike a deal with Verizon for its new flagship smartphone, the Lumia 928.

The new smartphone will debut at Verizon's plans next month, Bloomberg reported today. The smartphone is said to have a metal body, a 4.5-inch touch screen, an 8- megapixel camera and wireless charging. Of course, it will run on Microsoft's Windows software like the existing Lumias.

Nokia has not commented on the report.

Nokia has been struggling to turn around its plunging smartphone market share in the U.S. AT&T is currently offering the Nokia Lumia 920 for $99.99 with a 2- year plan, while and Verizon Wireless currently offers the Lumia 822.

It seems that the Lumia 928 is not the device Nokia plans to unveil tomorrow. Yesterday, the company posted a note on its blog hinting at the launch of a new smartphone on Wednesday. That device is expected to come with a QWERTY keyboard.
