Message Text: Asustek will enter the SDD market soon starting with the release of the ROG (Republic of Gamers) Raidr Express product in May.

The new SSD line is based on the PCI Express 2.0 interface and uses MLC flash supplied by Toshiba.

The Raidr Express series includes several solid-state drives in mSATA or NGFF form-factors that work in RAID0 mode to provide high performance. Bandwidth is ensured through the PCI Express 2.0 x4 interface. Asus claims that the SSD series maintains full compatibility with all major chipsets and operating systems, and can be used as a bootable drive for accelerated PC performance across the board.

It also features a built-in AHCI driver and supports both legacy and UEFI BIOS systems. The storage also features Asustek's SSD TweakIt and ROG HybriDisk technologies to enhance longevity and performance.
