 Vertu Introduces $10,000 Android Phones

Message Text: Vertu, Nokia's former luxury phone division division, has just released a new Vertu Android smartphone line called "Ti", which is available for roughly $10,000 per phone!

The company is offering four versions of the new smarphone: The first one is made of brushed/polished titanium, polished black ceramic and black leather ($10,625); the second features alligator skin; the third has a matt/polished black PVD titanium cover ($12,780) and the last features 18 carat red gold, black PVD titanium, polished black ceramic and black leather.

Their hardware characteristics are the same for all models. Each is based on Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 1.70GHz processor, runs on on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) OS, has a 3.7" WVGA display, an 8 MP main camera with AF and twin LED flash, an 1.3MP Skype compliant front camera, 64GB of internal memory and A-GPS + Compass Gyro and accelerometer.



Vertu phones are available in the company's "boutiques" located in Kazakhstan, Moldovia, Lebanon, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia. In America, Vertus are sold in Bal Harbour, Coral Gables and Manhasset.
