Message Text: Mozilla has removed the latest Firefox 16 web browser from its download section as it discovered a security vulnerability.

According to Mozilla, the vulnerability could allow a malicious site to potentially determine which websites users have visited and have access to the URL or URL parameters.

Mozilla said it was working on a fix and plan to ship updates soon. It added that it had no indication that the vulnerability was being exploited in the wild.

As a precaution, Mozilla advices users to downgrade to version 15.0.1.

Released earlier this week, Firefox 16 comes with a new developer command line as well as support for more HTML5 features.
