In the next few days Google is releasing an update to YouTube on Google TV, promising to make it faster and easier for users to find content and add YouTube channel pages.
Users will be able to update their app through Android Market. According to Google's the updated app works faster with smoother navigation. Google has added a new feature called Discover, which lets users browse YouTube channels by categories. Google has also updated the YouTube app with new channel pages. Users can navigate through playlists and videos in their favorite channels, and they can subscribe to channels from the YouTube app with just a click.
Users will also be able to see related videos and more videos from the same user by pressing the up or down arrows on their remote. Once they've found a great video, using the up and down arrows on the remote will be enough to find the Info screen where they can give the video a thumbs up, add it to one of their YouTube playlists, or leave a comment for the YouTube community.
