Verbatim is extending its role as technology leader by applying AZO technology to its Blu-ray media. The new Blu-ray 2x BD-R LTH Type Printable offers 25GB of storage capacity with a 2x burning rate and has a printable surface as far as the inner ring.
The new Verbatim Blu-ray BD-R Printable LTH Type (LTH=low to high in-groove recording) 25GB 2x media is now available in stores in a 10 spindle pack.
The new discs offer space for up to 135 minutes (MPEG2) of entertainment in HD-quality at a burning time of 45 minutes and is fully inkjet printable (22 ? 118mm) due to its printable surface to the inner ring.
The BD-R LTH Type uses Verbatim's AZO technology, which ensures perfect recording quality and long term reliability. It has a long archival life and is superbly protected by, Verbatim?s Hard Coat technology, a special scratch protection layer that safeguards the disc from scratches, fingerprints or dust, thereby helping to avoid recording or playback errors.
