Lenovo Introduces New Star Wars Augmented Reality Headset

At the 2017 D23 Expo in Anaheim, Calif., Disney and Lenovo gave a first glimpse at a new augmented reality (AR) experience called "Star Wars: Jedi Challenges."

Featuring an all-new augmented reality headset, the product was designed to give Star Wars fans an opportunity to recapture some of their favorite moments from Star Wars films in new ways.

The headgear uses your smartphone to bring the space epic into the real world. There's little to know about the hardware or the release date, but we already know a bit about the games you'll play. Lenovo and Disney are teasing holochess, but there's also a real-time ground battle game and Jedi Challenges, which will have you wielding a lightsaber.
