LG Electronics said Wednesday it will unveil a new G3 variant - the G3 Stylus - within the third quarter of the year.
The G3 Stylus will come with "slightly" less features than the G3, LG said. The budget phone will feature a digital pen and a 5.5-inch Quad HD screen.
LG has already released the LG G3 Beat model.
LG's cross-town rival Samsung Electronics will release the Galaxy Note 4 phablet on Sep. 3, in Berlin, Beijing, and New York. The Galaxy Note 4 is also pen-pushed model with 5.7-inch screen and more high-end features such as water resistance and finger-print scanner to unlock the device.
