New Fujitsu LIFEBOOK E Professional Notebooks Delivers Functionality and Security

Fujitsu has just launched its updated line of LIFEBOOK E-Series Professional Notebooks.

Available in 13.3-, 14- and 15.6-inch models (LIFEBOOK E754 starting from $999, LIFEBOOK E744 starting from $1029 and LIFEBOOK E734 starting from $1099), the new LIFEBOOK E line of semi-rugged notebooks provides business performance, security features and a durable design.

The notebooks feature the latest 4th generation Intel Core vPro processor technology, modular bay options such as the bay projector, a second battery and a hard disk drive, three USB 3.0 ports, as well as DVD or Blu-ray writers. In addition, the LIFEBOOK E line Notebooks are equipped with an anti-glare display, large touchpad, battery life of up to 21 hours and optional backlit keyboard.

Security features include a Smart Card reader, fingerprint sensor, TCG OPAL compliant self-encrypted drive (SED) and trusted platform module (TPM). User privacy is also incorporated into the design with each notebook having a full HD webcam equipped with a status LED that indicates when it's in use.

All three models also have common Basic Input/Output System (BIOS), shared modular components and accessories, such as a port replicator, modular bay elements and AC adapter.
