Google Voice Search App Released


Google has made available a Chrome extension that allows users do a Google search without typing, just by using their voices.

Google Voice Search Hotword is currenty in Beta version and can be downloaded from the Chrome Web Store.

This extension allows users to say 'Ok Google' and and then ask their questions.

According to an explanatory video posted by Google, users can say, for example: "OK Google, compare olive oil and butter," or, "OK Google, what is five tablespoons in ounces?"

Reminders can also be set with the service, so users can say, "OK Google, set a timer for 10 minutes."
