New Drivers To Boost Intel HD4000 Graphics

Intel has released new drivers for its HD graphics processors for the upcoming Haswell CPUs but also for the graphics core (HD4000) featured in its Ivy Bridge (IVB) Core processors.

The new version 15.31 drivers will boost overall performance by around 10 per cent compared to the current 14.51 driver set in games like Starcraft II, Batman Arkham City and WoW: Mists of Pandaria, according to Intel. AT the same time, power consumtion will be lowered.

The new drivers also enable support for the OpenCL 1.2 general-purpose GPU (GPGPU) offload language.

The drivers are available at Intel's Downoad center.
