Analyst Says Apple Will Release TV This Fall

Apple will eventually release a TV set this fall, Jefferies & Co. analyst Peter Misek said.

Misek claims that Apple will hold an event in March to plug a new program that lets developers write apps for Apple TV, which he expects will be unveiled in the fall. He also predicts the new TV will be in the 42-inch to 55-inch range and will start at $1,500.

Apple has been rumored to buy Loewe for quite some time now.

Apple Chief Executive Tim Cook recently said that Apple no longer considers TV a "hobby."
