Facebook for Android Got Faster


Facebook has launched a faster Facebook app for people who use Android devices.

the completely rebuilt app has been made entirely with native code. Facebook says the completely rebuilt app has been made entirely with native code. THis makes Facebook for Android 2.0 twice as fast when looking at photos and opening yourTimeline and also quicker to launch.

Facebook said it rebuilt the app's News Feed, notifications and the Timeline feature in order to make it quicker. The story banner now automatically updates and pushes up new stories, no matter where you are in the news feed.



This update will be available later Thursday on the Google Play Store.
