Apple Discounts iPads, Mac laptops

Apple is offering discounts to its products for Black Friday, that could help you save some money on a new iPad Mini or Mac computer, although the company is not exactly a shining example of generosity.

According to the prices listed on Apple's Online store, the the Apple iPad Mini is discounted by 10%, the entry-level 16GB Wi-Fi model would cost $296 rather than $329. The 64GB LTE model would cost $593 rather than $659. Apple is aware that this product will possibly be the most demanded so it does not bother to offer any bigger discount.

Apple did not discount its new 7.9-in. iPad Mini.

Prices on the fourth-generation iPad were reduced between $41 and $61 depending on storage capacity, for discounts of between 8% and 9% on the Wi-Fi models. The iPad 2, which is available only in a 16GB configuration, got an even more meager $31 price cut to $368.

Apple is also offering a $101 discount for all its MacBook line of computers (MacBook Pro with Retina display, MacBook Pro and MacBook Air.)

Apple's best deals will probably be available outside of Apple's official retail channels. Best Buy this week is offering a $50 discount on third-generation iPads (32GB and 64GB models). Wal-Mart is selling the second-generation iPad for the same $399 price that Apple charges, but it is including a $75 Wal-Mart gift card with the purchase.
