Toshiba 4K REGZA 55XS5 LCD TV Hit Japanese Stores Next Month


Toshiba's REGZA 55X3 4K (3840?2160) LCD TV will be released next month in Japan for about 750,000 yen ($9,410) - 150,000 Yen cheaper that the 55X3 4K, 3D-enabled model.

This 55-inch Quad HD or 4K TV (3840 x 2160) comes with edge LED Lighting, CS digital and BS/110 tuners, "active scan 240" scanning backlight technology, 4K up-conversion, a contrast ratio of 5,000:1 (Dynamic Contrast 6,500,000: 1), a 178- degree viewing angle, USB recording mode and Toshiba?s CEVO Duo image processor.
