ARCTIC Releases The Accelero Twin Turbo 6990 and Accelero S1 PLUS VGA Coolers

Arctic today released two new VGA coolers, the Accelero Twin Turbo 699 and the Accelero S1 PLUS.

The Accelero Twin Turbo 6990 is a dual-fan VGA cooler which is tailor-made for AMD Radeon HD 6990. With its 400 Watts cooling capacity, the Accelero Twin Turbo 6990 offers superior cooling performance at a fraction of the loudness compared to the stock cooler.

The cooler is equipped with two 120 mm PWM fans with a cooling capacity of 400 Watts which operates from 400 RPM to 1,500 RPM. In order to achieve this, it has a builtin 86 aluminum fins heatsink with 10 copper heatpipes.

Despite the use of two 120 mm PWM fans, the Accelero Twin Turbo 6990 is silent down to 0.4 Sone.

The Accelero Twin Turbo 6990 comes with a six-year limited warranty with MSRP at $ 149.95 USD/ &euro113.03 EUR, excl. VAT.

The Accelero S1 PLUS is a passive VGA cooler. Equipped with four heatpipes, the Accelero S1 PLUS can conduct the heat from the graphic card to the fins. The Accelero S1 PLUS is applicable on low and high-end graphic cards. Its additional heatsink set cools the RAM and circuit components surrounding the GPU. T

The thermal glue G-1 and pre-applied thermal compound MX-4 help deliver thermal conductivity on RAM and GPU, respectively. It is even possible to boost up the cooling performance of the Accelero S1 PLUS up to 130 Watts by pairing it with the S1 PLUS Turbo Module (an add-on 120mm fan).

The Accelero S1 PLUS comes with a six-year limited warranty and MSRP at $ 49.95 USD and € 37.65 EUR, excl. VAT.
