Hello, I would like know if this recorder (12/10/32S) works in Windows Xp with packet writting. Before I had installed Windows 98 with WinOnCD 3.7 for recording CDRW in that mode and it works well, but not now.
I was desinstalled o desactivated the software recording built in Xp, and before I have installed one for one InCD (nero), Bs'clip, and go on, go on, and none of them works. What happens? What version of packet writting software I must install?
PD: firmware of recorder is the last and the SCSI is fireport 40
Thanks in advance.

Apparently your Plextor PX-W1210TS burner is supported by InCD.

Does Nero work correctly on your box? If it does, so should InCD.

You should uninstall both InCD and B's Clip (and other packet writing programs, if any) via Add or Remove Programs. Then download the latest InCD 3.52.40 from Ahead's site www.ahead.de and install it.

Sometimes InCD doesn't install properly, in which case you may need to unpack the self-extracting executable file to an HDD directory and run the setup from this directory; see S7 in the InCD guide

http://www.cdrlabs.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=9572

Of course, take the usual precautions (clean up your TEMP directory, stop all unnecessary programs, including your antivirus software, etc.), and watch out for error messages, if any.

You may have conflicts between InCD and drivers installed by other burning programs or plugins. It may take a while to detect and resolve such issues. Have a look at the InCD troubleshooting guide

http://www.cdrlabs.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=9997

and come back with more information. This guide is quite technical in some places. If you don't understand something in the guide, don't worry; just ask.
