i have a lot of vhs tapes, and i moved to a new house, and it is rather humid here. I have found that a lot of my tapes are going bad quickly, anyways, I want to capture these... i have about 100 vhs tapes, and would like to capture them at a relatively low loss rate. I have captured before via my Radeon 9800 All in Wonder using Virtual Dub (codec HufYUV) and then encoding in divx5, but i've heard xvid is a better codec to encode to... and also i've just heard about Nero Recode 2.2... any sugguestions?

Personal opinion, Nero Recode 2.x may be good for use, but I would suggest XviD.
