Are there any CD-RW media faster than 10x speed?

I would really like 24x RW speed.

CD-RW's 10x can most times be burnt at 12x/16x if your writer supports this speed.

For 24x You will need a writer that supports 24x and some 24x CD-RW ultra speed rewritables.(16-24x)
Mitsubishi/CMC Magnetics/TDK do make them.
CMC Magnetics was the first one who made them according the standards.
Based on earlier rewritables I would recommend the Mitsubishi/Verbatim ones.

I allready have seen
Verbatim CDRW 16-24x but only 650 mb's ones. At my local stores for 3 euro's a piece (which is quite expensive since they sell Verbatim DVD+RW's for 4,5 euro's. But I don't have a DVD burner yet. Still waiting on what LG and Lite On will come up with. )
Online I have seen them at Opus/Fuerio website for arround 2 euro's.
So ther definetly out there. But I know there hard to find.

I don't want to say anything bad about Mitsubishi Chemicals, but so far the reports I've seen from people on this site have shown problems with their USCD-RWs...

I know that Ritek also has the 24x CD-RWs, but I'm not sure what their quality is like. New media is always a bit of a risk.

you're lucky MP3 Mogul! I've asked around at various media retailers in my area, and most of them don't even know the media exists!!! yet alone when they'll be getting some [}:)]

But again it is only 650 mb. So far no quality brands have released Ultra Speed Cd-rw's with 700mb capacity. Maybe the new TDK ultra speed cd-rw's which are shown at Cebit (and will be there by the end of this month according to some shops that is. ) can do it.I know that they are planning 700mb ultra speed cd-rw's.

I said quality media. The memorex ultra speed cd-rw's seem to be quite problematic. (Check some other forums on the net to see what I'm talking about) infact the quality became ussable at 12x speed.
These cd-rw's are made by Infodisc.
