My friend said that he was able to do this and I thought that there was no way.

is it possble to use TMPGenc to convert an .asf file into a mpg file and burn it to a CD and have it playable in a VCD player or DVD player?

I went and read a bit on this, and it looks like you can not use any third party software to play or convert it. Looks like Microsoft is at it again..... LOL.....
