I don´t know if someone can help me but I´m having some problens to burn DVDs. I just read now that the cause of my problems could be the media (Princo 4x with white face ) and tomorrow I´ll by a new brand.....I´m using LG 4120B and I just bought 50 pack of Princo 4x to test it and I burned 2 DVDs (Underworld and The Last Samurai) with Princo and both worked fine, but I tried to burn Kill Bill 1 and 2 and when I tried to play in my dvdplayer, after the protection warning (10 sec) the dvd freeze...even in my dvd-rom doesnt work......and this only happens with kill bill 1 and 2.....I thought the problem could me my computer or the nero version so I reinstall all my computer....I´m glad that the problem could be the media and not with my computer or my dvdplayer.

I didnt try others movies because I´m not sure what is the problem.....CAN YOU HELP ME ?

I just want to know if someone had the same problem and what did you do to solve it....

thanks a lot !!!

Did you remove the macrovision protection?

Use DVD Decrypter to rip the movies, DVD Shrink to compress and Nero to burn them.

As for the media are low quality and personaly I would suggest a different brand.

I used DVD Decrypter to rip, Pinnacle's Instant Copy 8 to compress, and DVD Decrypter to burn.

Perfect!!!

By the way, I prefer DVD Decrypter to burn my dvds... someway, for me, it works even better then Nero...

Princo are bad- even if there are different quality of it.

Try Verbatim or Ritek/Ridata/Arita. BRANDED!

Yes, it's freeware.

Since it's a very good software, it would be a nice idea to send a couple of Euro (or $) to the author...

Think about it, folks!

I just burned both Kill Bill Volume 1 & 2 with DVDShrink 3.2 to rip and encode to an ISO, then burned with Nero. All worked fine for me on some Ricoh DVD-R G04s... Worked in every DVD player I could find without any problems. :)

Many qualities. Difficult to say, I have seen good and average but at least much better than Princo. How about CMC, Verbatim, Taiyo Yuden, Maxell?

Ridata (branded!!!) dvd are quite good. Sure, are much better then Princo.

Ridata made with Ritek dye are well know as good. Not the top- but very good. And very compatible!

Be sure they are BRANDED Ridata.
