Hi all !

I would like just that you assure me that what I have fact is good bus by browsing the forum, I 'm complety lost in all these firmwares....

I installed the TDK 1616n and I could burn with of Datasafe DL (Ritek D01). But the name of my dvd burner is now TDK. Is it necessary to install version TDK 2C8.bin in the place to find the good name?

Another question : I could burn under XP with Nero, but when I pass under Debian and that I want to burn with k3b, I have an error at 50%. Will somebody know why?

Hi there,

You have the name "TDK" because you used this one:

You should use this instead :

Regarding Linux I can't help you ( I have no DVD experience using Linux ) :(
