Check this site select TY as manufacturer and see some weird Verbatim Pastel disc's which are supposed to be made by TY according to this side. They have a frosted hub. As you can see and these disc's are only Datalife. So Verbatim/Mitsubishi Chemicals seems to rank TY lower as Mitsubishi Chemicals/itself.
Also Moser Baer India verbatims on the site.
Now I know where the Metal Azo 16x which state made in India are made.
The made in Taiwan ones are made with products lines of CMC Magnetics but under Mitsubishi Chemicals own quality policy.

You can also searh these database on disc colour.

yeah, that's sort of what I suspect, however...it's the only one listed like that, and maybe, just MAYBE acer got a really GOOD overburning cd-r...not likely though

Well I have seen 92 minutes burned on Acer 80 minutes disc's. But I really won't recommend this since my experience is that Acer 80 minutes disc's get most times problematic beyond 76 minutes. I have seen a lot of players that had problems when you used the normal capacity(80 minutes). So I think it could be possible that it can be burned up to 99 minutes but then again with my experience this is really no option. I (or no some one who)still might have 1 or 2 arround of these 16x/24x disc's. So I will see what happens when burning 99 minutes with a Lite On or LG burner.
