My cdrw worked great for nearly a year with stock firmware v1.0c until very recently i made up my to update every and all drivers on my system! So i downloaded the latest firmware aka 1.0e and now i get track following errors when i try to write or erase my verbatim 2-4x and 8-10x cdrw... the funny thing is that after about a dozen attempts a managed to completely write the 2-4x cdrw at 2x speed, but the 10x remaines untouched! another funny thing is that i have absolutely no problem writing a Dysan 10x 8sm cd that i use as a large floppy! And all the cdr's are burned without a problem at max speed! could you help me out on this please?!
p.s. i wanted to try reverting to the old firmware but i didn't manage to find it ANYWHERE...
p.p.s. i did try to re-install the 1.0e firmware, but that didn't help...

I finally managed to erase 10x verbatim cd! i have absolutely no idea why this is happening!
