Hi all..

Just wondering if thers any other media (DVD-r that is) that is cheaper than the Verbatim Digtal Movie type that look like the old movie reels? These work great for me in my player so i will keep useing them if i have to, but i see alot of types on E-bay that are cheaper and didnt know if any other types are the same as those...

Thanks for your time....

Yes i mean general DVD-r Media, i didnt know if there was a "cheaper" brand out there that yealed the same results as those Verbatim's did. I just see so many "cheaper" brands for pretty good prices and didnt know if any were as equal as Verbatim's...

In general LiteON are not great burners with DVD-R media...I would suggest trying -R media from Verbatim/TY/Maxell when using LiteON burners at least for 8X.

I think that +R media RICOHJPNR018 (RICOH, Maxell, TDK, Fuji, LG, Memorex...) it's the best option for your burner.
This media isn't too much expensive and the results are great.., you can burn it at 8X.
With the Lite-On you can set the BookType to DVD-ROM for max compatibility.

It means with a LiteON recorder you can set the disc Booktype from DVD+R to DVD-ROM, getting the highest compatibility at DVD players
