Victor Company of Japan (TSE: 6792) will begin marketing in late October the "KAIROKU LUPIN DR-MV3," a VHS/DVD personal video recorder. Also available will be the DR-MF3, a model with a built-in BS (broadcast satellite) tuner.
Both products measure 435x96x347mm, weigh 5.7kg, and feature a dual terrestrial broadcasting tuner that enables users to simultaneously record two different TV programs. The company will produce 5,000 units of the DR-MV3 and 4,000 units of the DR-MF3 per month. Both models are open-priced.
