Ciao eveybody [:I]
I quote here a request that a guy posted in another Forum:
quote:
Looking for a hint here.
I just bought the new Bjork boxed set with a stack of 3" CDs. My windows machine has a toaster style DVD drive - no draw. So far as I can see it can't cope with 3" CDs.
Well, I have the same problem becouse I use "slotted" Pioneer DVD players and they don't use any sort of adapters to use also mini CDs...
I own the same Bjork's title and I'd like to backup it on a normal sized CD.
Is there anybody there who can suggest and point me out to links where I can find these kind of adapters ?
I know they exist becouse I saw them on the Net, but I've not been able to find them again...
They are like those adapters used for floppy disks inside combo CD/Floppy drives on Laptops...

Thanks in advance & take care !

Hi mdb175
Why don't you use your Writer to read and Rip the CD's then you wont need a adaptor [?]

Ciao Laffin Assassin and thanks a lot for replying !

Well, I personally can do it becouse I own a burner with draw but the "original" user ( I quoted his request in my first posting ) unfortunately does NOT own a burner or another drive...
He needs an adaptor becouse he wants to query the CDDB and download data for that Bjork title...

He posted his request here: http://www.collectorz.com/forum/messages/1/1652.html?1037900568
and I already gave some suggestions but that users did not reply yet..

Laffin, thanks again for your posting & take care !
