With a 10x optical zoom and 200x digital zoom, the Optura 500 doesn’t really improve specification-wise on the Optura 300, handling has been dramatically improved. The Optura 500 and 400 both excel past expectations under low light testing, perhaps, paving the way for a new and improved Canon consumer camcorder generation.
